Homemade Sushi

First things first:
Tie back lucious hair
Wash hands thoroughly with warm soapy water
Wash off all surfaces of the kitchen and move hazardous items

Making rice:
Measure out 1.5 cups of rice, wash it with your hands, then put it on high heat in 3 cups of water
Once boiling put on low heat for 20 minutes (set timer)

Meanwhile:
Unwrap raw tuna from the fridge
Get a well sharpened knife and slice into long thin strips
Put aside and completely clean/sanitize area (hands, knife, tabletop, cutting board)
Then slice the cucumber into very thin long strands

Also:
Unwrap uncooked chicken
Slice it into long thin strips, put teriyaki sauce on the chicken in a dish with some pepper
Leave in fridge for about an hour

Begin to:
Moisten the nori paper by leaving flecks of water on it and putting another cutting board on top as to keep it from curling up.

About after an hour:
Take marinated chicken out of the fridge, pan fry until cooked and slice into long thin strands.

Start to Roll:
Put rice along the nori and some of the food that is going in the middle, all alined in a straight line.
Use the bamboo roller to guide you

After all the sushi is rolled:
Prepare onto platters for nice presentation.
Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
